Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Narraweena in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (336 females or 21.8%)
  • Retail Trade (211 females or 13.7%)
  • Education and Training (185 females or 12.0%)

In combination, these three industries employed 732 females in total or 47.5% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Northern Beaches Council area employed 19.0% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 9.4% in Retail Trade; and 13.1% in Education and Training.
