Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Seaforth in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (263 females or 15.9%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (263 females or 15.9%)
  • Education and Training (201 females or 12.2%)

In combination, these three industries employed 727 females in total or 44.0% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Northern Beaches Council area employed 13.4% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; 19.0% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 13.1% in Education and Training.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Seaforth and Northern Beaches Council area were:

  • A larger percentage of females employed in financial and insurance services (10.1% compared to 6.1%)
