Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Warriewood in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (434 females or 21.0%)
  • Education and Training (312 females or 15.1%)
  • Retail Trade (242 females or 11.7%)

In combination, these three industries employed 988 females in total or 47.9% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Northern Beaches Council area employed 19.0% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 13.1% in Education and Training; and 9.4% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Warriewood and Northern Beaches Council area were:

  • A larger percentage of females employed in retail trade (11.7% compared to 9.4%)
