Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Warringah Council area in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (8,008 females or 19.9%)
  • Education and Training (5,328 females or 13.2%)
  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (4,893 females or 12.2%)

In combination, these three industries employed 18,229 females in total or 45.3% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Northern Beaches Council area employed 19.0% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 13.1% in Education and Training; and 13.4% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services.
