Analysis of household income levels for non-English speakers households in the Northern Beaches Council in 2021 compared to Australia shows that there was a larger proportion of non-English speakers in high income households (those earning $3,000 per week or more) and a lower proportion of low income households (those earning less than $800 per week).
Overall, 45.9% of non-English speakers were in households who earned a high income, and 8.1% were in low income households, compared with 28.7% and 13.3% respectively for Australia.
