Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Northern Beaches Council area in 2016 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Professionals (37,085 people or 28.6%)
- Managers (24,080 people or 18.6%)
- Clerical and Administrative Workers (17,482 people or 13.5%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 78,647 people in total or 60.6% of the employed resident population.
In comparison, Narraweena employed 19.5% in Professionals; 14.1% in Managers; and 14.2% in Clerical and Administrative Workers.
