Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Collaroy in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Professionals (500 males or 23.7%)
- Managers (487 males or 23.1%)
- Technicians and Trades Workers (466 males or 22.1%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 1,453 males in total or 69.0% of the employed male resident population.
In comparison, Northern Beaches Council area employed 27.4% in Professionals; 24.2% in Managers; and 17.9% in Technicians and Trades Workers.
The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Collaroy and Northern Beaches Council area were:
- A larger percentage of males employed as Technicians and Trades Workers (22.1% compared to 17.9%)
- A smaller percentage of males employed as Professionals (23.7% compared to 27.4%)
- A smaller percentage of males employed as Managers (23.1% compared to 24.2%)
Emerging groups
The number of employed males in Collaroy decreased by 60 between 2016 and 2021.
