Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Pittwater Council area in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Managers (4,096 males or 25.5%)
  • Professionals (3,935 males or 24.5%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (3,305 males or 20.6%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 11,336 males in total or 70.5% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, Northern Beaches Council area employed 24.2% in Managers; 27.4% in Professionals; and 17.9% in Technicians and Trades Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Pittwater Council area and Northern Beaches Council area were:
