Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Warriewood in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (611 females or 29.5%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (473 females or 22.8%)
  • Managers (308 females or 14.9%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 1,392 females in total or 67.2% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, Northern Beaches Council area employed 33.7% in Professionals; 19.1% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 17.4% in Managers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Warriewood and Northern Beaches Council area were:

  • A larger percentage of females employed as Clerical and Administrative Workers (22.8% compared to 19.1%)
  • A larger percentage of females employed as Sales Workers (10.2% compared to 8.7%)
  • A smaller percentage of females employed as Professionals (29.5% compared to 33.7%)
