Analysis of the qualifications of the male population in the Northern Beaches Council area in 2016 compared to Greater Sydney shows that there was a higher proportion of males holding formal qualifications (Bachelor or higher degree; Advanced Diploma or Diploma; or Vocational qualifications), and a lower proportion of males with no formal qualifications.
Overall, 62.9% of the male population aged 15 and over held educational qualifications, and 29.0% had no qualifications, compared with 54.4% and 36.2% respectively for Greater Sydney.
