Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Middle Park in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (170 females or 17.2%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (162 females or 16.4%)
  • Education and Training (116 females or 11.8%)

In combination, these three industries employed 448 females in total or 45.4% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, the City of Port Phillip employed 15.1% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; 16.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 11.3% in Education and Training.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Middle Park and the City of Port Phillip were:
