Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Ripponlea in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:
- Education and Training (82 females or 16.7%)
- Health Care and Social Assistance (81 females or 16.5%)
- Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (60 females or 12.2%)

In comparison, the City of Port Phillip employed 11.3% in Education and Training; 16.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 15.1% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services.
The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Ripponlea and the City of Port Phillip were:
