Dominant groups
Analysis of the females in City of Port Phillip in 2021 compared to Greater Melbourne - Total females shows that there was a similar proportion of people in the younger age groups (under 15) and a lower proportion of people in the older age groups (65+).
Overall, 11.0% of the females were aged between 0 and 14, and 13.8% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 17.4% and 16.2% respectively for Greater Melbourne - Total females.
