Dominant groups
Analysis of the male five year age groups of the City of Ryde in 2021 compared to Ryde (South) shows that there was a lower proportion of males in the younger age groups (under 15) and a higher proportion of males in the older age groups (65+).
Overall, 17.2% of the male population was aged between 0 and 15, and 13.8% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 18.4% and 9.7% respectively for Ryde (South).
