Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in West Ryde in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (477 males or 14.1%)
  • Construction (343 males or 10.2%)
  • Financial and Insurance Services (296 males or 8.8%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,116 males in total or 33.1% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, the City of Ryde employed 15.6% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; 9.9% in Construction; and 8.7% in Financial and Insurance Services.
