Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Denistone East in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (102 females or 20.0%)
  • Education and Training (81 females or 15.9%)
  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (66 females or 12.9%)

In combination, these three industries employed 249 females in total or 48.8% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, the City of Ryde employed 19.4% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 12.5% in Education and Training; and 12.5% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Denistone East and the City of Ryde were:
