Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Ryde (South) in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (574 females or 18.0%)
  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (444 females or 13.9%)
  • Financial and Insurance Services (336 females or 10.5%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,354 females in total or 42.4% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, the City of Ryde employed 19.4% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 12.5% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; and 8.2% in Financial and Insurance Services.
