Dominant groups
Analysis of the share of the Chinese languages speaking population attending educational institutions in the City of Ryde in 2021 compared to Greater Sydney shows that there was a similar proportion attending primary school, a lower proportion attending secondary school, and a similar proportion engaged in tertiary level education.
Overall, 6.9% of the Chinese languages speaking population were attending primary school, 3.6% of the population were attending secondary institutions, and 8.5% were learning at a tertiary level, compared with 6.8%, 4.5% and 8.5% respectively for Greater Sydney.
There were no major differences between City of Ryde and Greater Sydney in 2021.
