Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in City of Ryde in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (12,069 males or 36.0%)
  • Managers (6,094 males or 18.2%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (4,676 males or 13.9%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 22,839 males in total or 68.1% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, Greater Sydney employed 26.5% in Professionals; 17.5% in Managers; and 16.8% in Technicians and Trades Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of the City of Ryde and Greater Sydney were:
