Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Jindabyne in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Accommodation and Food Services (327 males or 20.9%)
  • Construction (236 males or 15.1%)
  • Arts and Recreation Services (211 males or 13.5%)

In combination, these three industries employed 774 males in total or 49.5% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Snowy Monaro Regional Council area employed 12.0% in Accommodation and Food Services; 16.4% in Construction; and 5.2% in Arts and Recreation Services.
