- Professionals (1,060 females or 20.1%)
- Community and Personal Service Workers (976 females or 18.5%)
- Clerical and Administrative Workers (967 females or 18.3%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 3,003 females in total or 57.0% of the employed female resident population.
In comparison, Rural East employed 19.3% in Professionals; 12.9% in Community and Personal Service Workers; and 15.5% in Clerical and Administrative Workers.
The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Snowy Monaro Regional Council area and Rural East were:
