Analysis of the household/family types in Rural North West in 2021 compared to Avenel and District shows that there was a lower proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a lower proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 19.2% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 7.4% were one-parent families, compared with 24.1% and 9.7% respectively for Avenel and District.
