Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Euroa and District in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (197 males or 22.2%)
  • Construction (131 males or 14.7%)
  • Transport, Postal and Warehousing (64 males or 7.2%)

In combination, these three industries employed 392 males in total or 44.1% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Australia employed 3.1% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing; 14.7% in Construction; and 6.7% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Euroa and District and Australia were:

  • A larger percentage of males employed in agriculture, forestry and fishing (22.2% compared to 3.1%)
