Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Rural North West in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:
- Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (53 females or 18.5%)
- Health Care and Social Assistance (46 females or 16.0%)
- Education and Training (38 females or 13.2%)
In combination, these three industries employed 137 females in total or 47.7% of the total employed female resident population.
In comparison, Strathbogie Shire employed 12.6% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing; 21.4% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 11.4% in Education and Training.
The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Rural North West and Strathbogie Shire were:
