Analysis of the household/family types in Ruse in 2021 compared to Rural Residential shows that there was a lower proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a higher proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 35.8% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 14.4% were one-parent families, compared with 44.8% and 7.7% respectively for Rural Residential.
There were a higher proportion of lone person households and a similar proportion of couples without children. Overall, the proportion of lone person households was 17.5% compared to 16.0% in Rural Residential while the proportion of couples without children was 26.3% compared to 26.2% in Rural Residential.
The number of households in Ruse increased by 69 between 2016 and 2021.
There were no major differences in Ruse between 2016 and 2021.
