Dominant groups

Analysis of the need for assistance of people in Blacktown City Council compared to Blacktown City shows that there was a higher proportion of people who reported needing assistance with core activities.

Overall, 6.1% of the population reported needing assistance with core activities, compared with 5.3% for Blacktown City.

The major differences in the age groups reporting a need for assistance in Blacktown Precinct and Blacktown City were:
