Analysis of the car ownership of the households in Blacktown City in 2021 compared to Lalor Park shows that 87.6% of the households owned at least one car, while 6.4% did not, compared with 78.9% and 12.9% respectively in Lalor Park.
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a smaller proportion who owned just one car; a larger proportion who owned two cars; and a larger proportion who owned three cars or more.
Overall, 34.0% of the households owned one car; 36.2% owned two cars; and 17.4% owned three cars or more, compared with 35.4%; 29.4% and 14.0% respectively for Lalor Park.
