Dominant groups
Analysis of the need for assistance of people in Ku-ring-gai Council compared to Ku-ring-gai Council area shows that there was a lower proportion of people who reported needing assistance with core activities.

The major differences in the age groups reporting a need for assistance in Pymble and Ku-ring-gai Council area were:

- A smaller percentage of persons aged 80 to 84 (17.5% compared to 19.5%)
