Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Euroa and District in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (302 people or 16.8%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (227 people or 12.6%)
  • Construction (146 people or 8.1%)

In combination, these three industries employed 675 people in total or 37.5% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Strathbogie Shire employed 18.4% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing; 12.2% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 9.7% in Construction.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Euroa and District and Strathbogie Shire were:
