Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Urana and surrounds in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (170 people or 42.1%)
  • Transport, Postal and Warehousing (52 people or 12.9%)
  • Public Administration and Safety (34 people or 8.4%)

In combination, these three industries employed 256 people in total or 63.4% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Federation Council area employed 12.5% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing; 5.4% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing; and 4.7% in Public Administration and Safety.
