Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Tregear in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (128 people or 13.0%)
  • Transport, Postal and Warehousing (126 people or 12.8%)
  • Retail Trade (122 people or 12.3%)

In combination, these three industries employed 376 people in total or 38.1% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Blacktown City employed 14.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 8.1% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing; and 10.0% in Retail Trade.
