Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Rozelle in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (981 people or 19.7%)
  • Financial and Insurance Services (567 people or 11.4%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (514 people or 10.3%)

In combination, these three industries employed 2,062 people in total or 41.5% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Inner West Council area employed 15.8% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; 8.1% in Financial and Insurance Services; and 12.5% in Health Care and Social Assistance.
