Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Forestville in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (560 people or 14.1%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (501 people or 12.6%)
  • Education and Training (418 people or 10.5%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,479 people in total or 37.2% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Northern Beaches Council area employed 14.3% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; 11.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 8.7% in Education and Training.
